Super Alarm is designed to respect your privacy by default. There is no account, no server, no ads, and no third-party tracking. Everything stays on your device.

What Super Alarm does

Super Alarm helps you wake up by requiring a QR code scan for alarm dismissal. On Android, alarms open a full-screen ringing flow. On iOS, scheduled notifications open the QR dismissal flow when tapped.

Data stored on your device

• Alarm settings (time, days, sound, label)
• QR location labels and payloads you create
• Reliability checklist state
• Recent alarm attempts and results
• Local diagnostic events (last 120 entries)

None of this data is sent to Super Alarm servers automatically. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly export and share it.

Camera

The camera is used only to scan QR codes for alarm dismissal. No images or video are stored, uploaded, or processed beyond the QR scan itself.

• Full-Screen Intent — to show the ringing screen over the lock screen
• Foreground Service — to keep the alarm audio playing
• Wake Lock — to keep the screen on during ringing
• Vibration — for tactile alarm feedback
• Camera — for QR scanning only
• Boot Restore — to reschedule alarms after a device restart

Diagnostics export

You can export a local JSON file containing alarm settings, QR location data, recent attempts, and diagnostic events. This file stays under your control. If you send it to support, support receives it solely for troubleshooting and does not retain it beyond that purpose.

No analytics, ads, or tracking

Super Alarm contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no tracking libraries. There are no crash reporters phoning home. The app is entirely offline.

Deleting your data

Uninstall Super Alarm or clear app storage from Android settings to erase all local data. Android backup is disabled for this app. Exported files can be deleted from your device at any time.
